The Ring Dinger technique is an advanced method of global spinal decompression developed and popularized by Dr. Greg Johnson.
Unlike traditional adjustments that work on individual vertebrae, the Ring Dinger acts on the entire spine at the same time, applying a controlled and specific axial traction.
There are situations in which this technique may not be indicated, such as:
Patients with a history of CVA stroke, cardiac pathology, tumors, idiopathic diffuse skeletal hyperostosis, ankylosing spondylitis, advanced atherosclerosis, surgical spinal fusion, advanced osteoporosis, coagulation problems, Arnold Chiari, Elhers-Danlos syndrome, Marfan syndrome, Loeys-Dietz syndrome, Stickler syndrome, under 18 years of age.
One of the advantages of this treatment is that with 1 or 2 visits, important changes are already noticeable.
Yes, when applied correctly (by a chiropractor certified in the technique) and after proper clinical evaluation, the Ring Dinger technique is a safe procedure. Chiropractic treatment is known to be one of the safest treatments, without the use of drugs and without invasive procedures, however, all treatment carries a risk, and although in chiropractic the risk is very low, we will always do a pre-examination, history and test review to provide as much safety as possible.
Each person is unique. Therefore, the number of recommended sessions -generally between 2 and 6- will depend on your pathology and the length of time you have been suffering from it.
Herniated and protruded discs (cervical, dorsal or lumbar).
Chronic low back pain and lumbosciatica.
Persistent cervical pain and severe stiffness.
Mild to moderate functional or structural scoliosis.
Vertebral compression due to prolonged bad postures.
Patients with a feeling of “general blockage” in the spine.
Vertebral subluxation.
Numbness and numbness of extremities.
Postural improvement.
Cases in which the traditional adjustment has not worked.
At the first visit, the patient’s history will be taken, tests will be reviewed, an examination will be performed, and posture and mobility will be checked. If the patient is eligible for Ring Dinger® treatment, the treatment will be explained and can be started at this same visit.
